Each account has its own Phone PIN that identifies account owners over the phone, through the EXPRESS 24 Information Line, or during online banking registration. This PIN should never be shared with anyone outside of the account owners. There are 2 ways a PIN is assigned:

  • When an account is opened at a branch location, the Phone PIN is chosen by the account owner(s)
  • Accounts opened online or at dealerships for auto loans have PINs randomly generated and mailed to the address on file
    • PINs for accounts opened online typically arrive 3-5 business days after the account is funded
    • PINs for accounts opened through a dealership typically arrive within 3-4 weeks after the account is funded
