Personal accounts can have up to 9 joint owners, for a total of 10 account owners including the primary. Each joint owner on an account has the same rights and permissions as the primary account owner. The only exception to this is that joint owners cannot remove the primary from the account.
Each time a joint is added to an account, all existing account owners need to be present with the prospective joint owner at a branch location. The prospective joint owner will need to provide proper identification, as well as qualify for membership to the credit union. For a list of ways to qualify, click here.
